Here is a little bit about Ron, well me - I can't write in the third person. Cameras have always interested me. My Dad had some cool cameras, and I would watch him load the film and turn the dials. Maybe it was because I was to young to play with those that I became fond of them? For Christmas one year, he gave me a 110 camera. That was the start, my favorite subjects were Cindy our dog and my GI Joes.
Eventually, my Dad shared with me his 35mm and 2 1/4 cameras as I started taking photography in Jr. High and High School. I went to Antonelli School for photography and learned wedding work from my high school teacher, Mr. Patton. I was a weekend warrior for the first 20 years freelancing for studios in the area. Then I met Josh Gardner. He was looking to start up a new venture and asked me to work at his studio while he got the new business off the ground. That was what I needed, I left the corporate grind and became the assistant to the regional manager, (inside joke).
The bottom line is that I am a photographer. I take pictures for my career and that is how I pay my bills - and I wouldn't want to do anything else. Take a look around and please get in touch with me if you would like me to do some work for you.
